Research and data has shown that for most EVs, the age of the battery affects range more than the mileage of the car.
Although mileage, and thus how many times an EV has been charged and discharged, does affect battery health and range, a much bigger factor is the age of the battery. In our own data, we have seen that even high mileage EVs (most of which are also fairly old), still retain at least 85% of their range.
