Is Recurrent free?

Heading

Most of it is free. Here is what costs nothing and what does not.

Free: Recurrent data on used EVs

Recurrent battery and range data is free for EV shoppers (both new and pre-owned) in all 50 states. Before you talk to a salesperson, you can see a vehicle's Range Score and how its battery compares to others of the same year and model.

Hundreds of dealerships publish Recurrent reports on their EV listings, and our data also appears on major shopping sites like Edmunds and Cars.com. Shoppers never pay for any of it.

Free: Sell with Recurrent

Sell with Recurrent helps EV owners collect offers on their vehicle from dealers who want it. Recurrent gets a small fee from the dealership if they buy the car. The seller does not pay anything for this service.

Recurrent Connect: $60 per year

Recurrent Connect is the product for people who already own an EV. Connect your car once and Recurrent records several battery readings a day, then turns them into ongoing insights:

  • Early detection. Battery and charging issues get flagged before they turn into bigger surprises, with an explanation of what shifted and what to do next.
  • State of health. Your battery's condition in context over time, not a single snapshot.
  • Best practices. How your daily driving and charging habits affect efficiency, range, and long-term battery wear.

All of it is backed by real-world data from 50,000+ EVs and 1.1 billion miles of driving.

Recurrent Connect is $60 per year. Every new subscription starts with 30 days of full access at no cost, so you can see your own vehicle's data before you pay anything.
